WIRED : relevant again?
In the airport on my way back from CES I saw a copy of WIRED at the news stand and I couldn't resist the core theme of FAIL.
The key articles:
* Accept Defeat: The Neuroscience of Screwing Up
* Stay in the Game: The Fall and Rise of Alec Baldwin
* Learn to Let Go: How Success Killed Duke Nukem
* Time Your Attack: Oracle’s Lost Revolution
The whole of the magazine was great too. The visual layout seems to have taken cues from both GOOD magazine (my favorite right now) with a more sparse layout and high impact infographics, and News Week's single-page-read-it-in-45-seconds factoid-articles.
I never thought much of WIRED, but I'm going to have to look for next month's issue to see if it's more than a fluke!
