I was looking for these function names about 6 months ago, trying to make an application that, depending on command line flags, would run in GUI or CLI mode.

I have hundreds of bookmarks that I've had for about 2 years from before I started to keep track of this kind os stuff on this blog.

I've been meaning to do this housekeeping for 2 years-- coincidentally just about the time I started my Masters program.

change the com port number your device enumerates on

Some legacy apps require comports < 9

Unfortunately my cheapo bluetooth adapter has reserved comports 5-15!

using this trick you can see all the unplugged in devices so you can right click and uninstall them!

Device Manager does not display devices that are not connected to the Windows XP-based computer

Object Pascal Resurected?

I have a deep fondness for Oject Pascal from my early years where I learned to write real software using Borland Delphi. Borland's infamous management disasters have all but sealed Delphi's fate, but this company RemObjects is trying to evolve their own new Object Pascal, in the spirit of Delphi, that runs on the .NET platform.
