flakey ethernet on Lenovo Q150 Nettop
Thank goodness for the internets.
The network card on my Lenovo Q150 Nettop gave me some grief right after I got it, but then I twiddled some things and it started to work. Then today, right before I need it for a demo, the network is out again and it left me scrambling with modprobe, dmesg, and google (from my laptop).
Turns out if you reboot from windows into linux without yanking the power cord, the ethernet card won't see the network.
Sounds like a firmware issue to me.
